Summer blues

It can’t just be me?

I find summer just so meh. I find it hard to motivate myself to take pictures.

Now this i’m sure will be down to multiple reasons. Blue, empty skies and the lack of anything interesting. But that’s my perspective, as of course there is so much happening at any one point in life. Of course we can find an image anywhere we look, but I think the seasons can affect certain people in different ways.

I myself love Autumn. The changing of life around us. The trees dropping their leaves as they’ve done their job. The change in the weather and everything that comes with that.

But…its only as summer becomes a memory, do we then look back at some of the images and realise, actually there's so much to see.

It certainly was a busy summer though. Lots of trips away in the Mazda, only to have it written off a few weeks before our tour around the Netherlands.

Managed to pick up a VW in time and spent a few weeks going through France, Belgium and Holland. Still yet to go through all the images.

I always look forward to autumn, but as soon as its here, I realise how ill prepared I am. I should have had a long list of ideas, locations, random notes and a plan.

Ill grab my notebook and start scribbling shortly.
